Erath - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Jeanette Simon Renard, 74, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Melancon officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, beginning at 12:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 8:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

A native of Maurice and resident of Erath, Mrs. Renard passed away at 11:47AM on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at a local hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who dearly loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Renard of Erath; son, Tommie Renard and his wife Ann of Erath; daughter, Sonia Renard Juarez and her husband Alfredo of Youngsville; and grandchildren Christopher Renard of Erath, Kevin Renard and his wife Jennifer of Erath, Nicolas Juarez and Gabriel Juarez of Youngsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Marie Vice Simon; and brother Rodney “Yo-Yo” Simon.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tommie Renard, Christopher Renard, Kevin Renard, Nicolas Juarez, Alfredo Juarez, and Johnny Dubois.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gabriel Juarez.
