Loreauville – Funeral Services will be conducted for Clayson Dugas, Age 93, at 2:00PM Friday March 2, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday March 2, 2012 from 8:00AM until service time with a Rosary being prayed at 10:00AM.

A lifelong resident of Loreauville, Mr. Dugas died Wednesday February 29, 2012 at 6:35AM at Consolata Nursing Home.

Mr. Dugas was a sugar cane farmer. After retiring from farming his hobbies were raising cattle and running his beagles.

The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Michael Alvarez, Nettie Courville and his other caregivers and the Consolata Nursing Home Staff for the loving care given to Clayson.

Clayson was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Tauzin Dugas; parents, Louis and Lucie Gondron Dugas; three sisters, Yolande and Vida Dugas and Oline D. Pearce and five brothers, Clet, Louis B., Daniel, Saul and Husville Dugas.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
